Michael joined the program in late 2023 after 3 years as Operations and Student Experience Coordinator at SEDA College.
Michael has a strong passion in education and being able to support immersing students into the business side of the game.
Prior to his time in secondary and tertiary education, Michael was a professional cricketer from 2010-2017.
A left-arm spinner, Michael played two Tests for Australia in the 2011-12 season, including a debut in The Ashes.
He also represented Western Australia and Victoria in state cricket and made a combined 67 appearances for the Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Stars in the BBL.
Chris brings nearly 30 years of experience to Cricket Victoria, having worked as a Coach Development Specialist and Melbourne Stars Area Manager.
He has held coaching and management roles with the Melbourne Stars, Melbourne Renegades, Cricket Australia and the International Cricket Council.
Since 2023, Chris has contributed to the MCEA Cricket Performance Program, helping develop both emerging players and future coaches.
His extensive knowledge and passion for talent development make him a key contributor to the growth and success of MCEA students.
A proud MCEA graduate, Lily joined Cricket Victoria in early 2025 as the Student Experience and Recruitment Coordinator. In this role, she champions the student journey, ensuring every learner not only completes their Dual Diploma but also thrives within Cricket Victoria’s high-performance environment.
Having completed the program herself, Lily brings a unique understanding of the MCEA experience. She is passionate about creating an engaging, supportive and opportunity-rich pathway for all students.
Lily is excited to help grow and enhance the MCEA program, ensuring it reaches its full potential for future cohorts.
